Does Fortworx support compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA?: Yes. Fortworx provides a full audit trail for every inbound message, response, and action — designed to support regulatory frameworks including HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and SOC 2. How does Fortworx analyze incoming emails?: Inbound emails are parsed and analyzed using fine-tuned models powered by OpenAI. Vulnerability reports are triaged and assessed. Security questionnaires are detected and routed through the appropriate workflow. Your data is never shared with OpenAI and is never used for model training. Enterprise customers can bring their own model for full control over the AI provider.

What is the data retention policy?: Retention depends on your plan — 90 days on Free and up to 10 years on Business and Enterprise. After the retention period, email content is deleted from our servers. Metadata is retained for audit and compliance purposes until you delete your account.

Are inbound emails scanned for threats?: Yes. All inbound emails are scanned for spam, viruses, and malware using a combination of proprietary and third-party tools before they enter your workflow.

How is data encrypted and stored?: All inbound emails, attachments, and uploaded files are transferred and stored using industry-standard encryption. Data is hosted in the EU (Germany) by default, with configurable data residency available on the Enterprise plan.

Can I use my own AI model?: Yes. Enterprise customers can bring their own model for email analysis, giving you full control over the AI provider used to process your data — whether for compliance, data sovereignty, or performance requirements.

Do you support data residency requirements?: Yes. The Enterprise plan allows you to select the region where your data is hosted, supporting data sovereignty and jurisdictional compliance requirements. By default, all data is stored in the EU (Germany).

Are there fees on bug bounty payouts?: No. Fortworx charges 0% fees on bounty rewards — 100% of every payout goes directly to the researcher. There are no platform fees, no processing surcharges, and no hidden costs on rewards.

Is Fortworx available as a self-hosted solution?: Yes. Our Enterprise tier is available as both a self-hosted and a managed hosted deployment.
